Making MORE Possible - Embrace, Engage, and Empower

We are pleased to welcome you to our 81st Annual General Meeting - an important opportunity to stay connected, informed, and engaged as we continue Making MORE Possible for our members and our community.

Offering both in‑person and virtual participation allows more members than ever to take part in the AGM in the way that best fits their needs. Each year, we see strong engagement throughout our community and across Vancouver Island, demonstrating the value of convenient, accessible ways to stay involved.

Our goal remains the same: to ensure all members can easily access information, participate in discussions, and stay informed about the progress and direction of their Credit Union.

So - what can you expect from this year’s AGM? Whether you join us in person or online, you’ll experience the same commitment to transparency, community, and inclusion that guides everything we do.

As you prepare to attend, we encourage you to review the details below to help ensure a smooth experience.

Important reminder:
If you plan to attend in person at the Multi‑Purpose Room at the High School, please do not register online. As with past in‑person AGMs, you’ll simply register when you arrive at the door.

What do I need to know about the AGM?

  • We have selected the Microsoft Teams digital platform for our AGM as it will allow members in attendance to vote using their computer or tablet
  • Ensure you have the most recent version of Teams installed on your mobile device from the App Store or Google Play, or downloaded from the Teams site: https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/microsoft-teams/download-app

How to Register

If you are attending in-person you will be registered at the door; do not register online.

Online registration opens April 6th, 2026 and closes at 4:00 pm on May 4th, 2026 to allow staff to verify membership information for online voting privileges ahead of the AGM.

Members who wish to participate (vote, pose questions, etc.) are required to register NO LATER than 4:00 pm (Pacific Time) on May 4th, 2026.

Registration is by unique email address, therefore, once an email address has been used to register, it cannot be used again.

Multiple individuals under a household using one registered email address will only count as a single member as part of the quorum and therefore, a single vote (a secondary registrant will be required to create their own email account and register separately).

Members who require a printed copy of the Annual Report are asked to contact us as soon as possible.

Downloadable (digital) copies of the Annual Report and Financial Statements are available on our News page.

The Teams session enables verified Members in Good Standing to vote and pose questions during the AGM.

Teams technology provides the capability for verified members to communicate their question(s) within the session via chat. Alternatively, members can message or call our contact center with questions during the session.

Members who sign in and attend the full AGM will receive a $75 gift certificate to support a local establishment - just one of the ways we show what it means to be LDCU strong.
