Position Description

An opportunity for a Manager, Insurance Services is available in our Insurance Services division. The Manager, Insurance Services is responsible for managing the overall operation of the Insurance Services division and for developing and implementing strategies related to the growth and development of the agency business. In addition, responsibilities include assisting with the development and administration of the division’s budget and business plans, and oversight and monitoring of the effectiveness of all Insurance Services products and services, including both personal and commercial lines, Government Motor Vehicle Branch services, marketing strategies, and short- and long-term planning activities. Further, the Manager, Insurance Services is responsible for the documentation and implementation of all policies and procedures within the Insurance Services division. The Manager, Insurance Services provides leadership, coaching, direction and development to insurance services staff either directly or through subordinate supervisors to ensure consistent delivery of quality service and advice, profitable business growth, and compliance with applicable policies and regulations. This role is also responsible for all technological conversions/system upgrades that ensure continued profitability, functionality, and effectiveness of operations for both general insurance and Driver Services.

Qualifications Required

To meet the requirements of the position, you will have completion of industry related courses to maintain a Level III Nominee license. You will also have a minimum of 10 years of insurance services experience, preferably in a Credit Union subsidiary environment and a minimum of 3-4 years of insurance services experience at a management level.
