Investment Services Assistant - Wealth Management Services, Permanent Full Time
Position Description
An opportunity for a full-time Investment Services Assistant is available within our Wealth Management division. The Investment Services Assistant will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative and sales support activities in order to develop, build, maintain, attract, and expand relationships. The Investment Services Assistant will provide professional service in an efficient, financially responsible manner.
Qualifications Required
The successful candidate will:
- play an integral role as part of a team with our Investment Advisor in the completion of required materials and tasks before, during and after client meetings
- attend client meetings with the Investment Advisor when required
- engage clients on a regular basis by handling incoming and outgoing calls to provide client service & support
- assist in the preparation of financial plans, portfolio and insurance reviews and tax preparation
- serve as a support to the Investment Advisor in form preparation, statement requests and other administrative requirements
- maintains a strong understanding of industry regulations, policies & procedures, and compliance requirements
- organize data, information and files in Microsoft OneNote and Salesforce CRM
- maintain client tracking spreadsheets
- help coordinate and attend client, networking or industry events
- oversee front desk reception, greet clients, proactively refer clients within the Credit Union.
To meet the requirements of the position, you will have a high school diploma supplemented by basic business-related courses or experience; coupled with the successful completion of CIFC, IFC or CSC. The completion of, or enrolment in, your CFP would be an asset. Understanding of back office procedures and compliance in a MFDA environment is preferable. The ability to perform basic office/clerical activities including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is a must.
