Contact Centre Representative - Financial Services, Full-time

Position Description

An opportunity for a full-time Contact Centre Representative position is available in our Financial Services department within Ladysmith & District Credit Union’s Contact Centre. The incumbent is responsible for providing courteous service to members, striving to increase member satisfaction by analyzing, assisting, and fulfilling all members’ financial service needs, as well as making judgment decisions regarding the delivery of financial product and services to members through non-face to face member interaction. This position processes a full range of non-member facing business and personal member transactions, promotes deposit products and services to meet member needs, and makes appropriate referrals to other departments.

Qualifications Required

To meet the requirements of this position, candidates will have at least 18 months of financial services experience, preferably in the Credit Union System and will have also successfully completed Credit Union Products and Services (CUIC 185). Above average computer and keyboarding skills and the ability to use sophisticated office equipment is a must. They are attentive to detail, have the ability to recognize opportunities and communicate options effectively, and approach all situations with a positive, professional outlook. An ability to develop great working relationships with others and a dedication to providing exceptional service is essential.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
